Can a detox diet clear my acne

A lot has been said about going through a detox diet to help with skin problems. Personally I have had no success with this kind of treatment and generally regard it as hooey!

However I would not disregard it completely , as there may be instances were it could work for those affected with bad acne.

I would believe it would have a profound affect on those who would have a large amount of , and perhaps are not very careful with their diet as they should. This mean those that would eat snack foods such as crisps , pre prepared meals , burgers( both fast food type and cheap supermarket frozen variety), and all that type of junk food.

the main concept of the detox diet is plenty of fresh water. Fruits and vegetables are also a great source of natural vitamins and minerals , including those for the complexion , such as , beta carotene, as well as zinc znd potassium. Meats are also important, and the variety is as important , is very important for iron and vitamin A as is fish and chicken ( not pork or derivatives though). Fruit as should be varied in colors as well as type , concentrating in the red, orange , and blackish, as well as the dark green vegetation.All food should be bought fresh as that is the only way to get a natural product , and cooked with unprocessed of your own choosing .

Salt is OK but must be a minimum. The meats must be only just cooked as over cooking , like stews or boiling will reduce and change the amount and properties of the vitamins and minerals on board.

It is important not to substitute the ( necessary for the fatty acids and iron) for processed or otherwise tampered products , and this includes irradiated meats .

Smaller portions and a wide variety for meals , with ( vitamin C) for the beverage is and excellent diet to choose , but it must be every meal is a natural meal . Bread is out , as are fries , and are generally gone unless there is no absolute choice . Try a new pan with a good non stick coating , this will often allow you to cook without any oil, including eggs.

Cereals are fine , and in fact grain foods are the best for your complexion.

The key here is to try and avoid foods that contain the toxins before you even cook them! There should be no need for vitamin supplements as you do this as the balance should be complete as long as you eat a little of every thing ( includes fat!). there are also cooking ingredients that are superbly beneficial , such as garlic ,onion, tomatoes etc

This diet had no effect on me as I eat very healthy any way, but then I like to cook from scratch and I cook for my daughter too. Try this diet for 2 weeks , you will notice a difference physically, even the nasty bathroom smells will disappear , for your acne perhaps or perhaps not, it depends how badly you were looking after yourself!
